Lakewood OMFS Staff
The staff at Lakewood Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Specialists have been hand selected based on their compassion and dedication to patient care. The entire staff at Lakewood Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Specialists are specialists in patient care and are focused on providing you with the ultimate patient experience.
As we perform general anesthesia procedures in our office daily, the surgical assistants, nurses and doctor of Lakewood Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Specialists are all certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). Our anesthesia team has also completed rigorous training and certification in anesthesia and monitoring techniques.
Dr. Haggerty possess an anesthesia certificate through the state of Missouri that was awarded based upon 5-6 months of hospital-based anethesia training. Our nurse and doctor are both certified in BLS, CPR, ACLS (Advanced Cardia Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support). Our state of the art facility, spacious and modern operating rooms and advanced training ensure the safest environment for your patient care.
Ashley RN, BSN joined the Lakewood Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery team in 2008 as Dr. Haggerty’s lead surgical assistant and hospital coordinator. Her time in the office, operating rooms and hospitals led her to pursue a pathway in nursing. Ashley graduated with honors from the Saint Luke’s College of Nursing and obtained her RN (Registered Nurse) and BSN (Bachelors of Science in Nursing). Ashley’s ten plus years in the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and with Dr. Haggerty make her the perfect fit for Lakewood’s clinical nurse and treatment coordinator.

Ashley RN, BSN
Ashley graduated with honors in 2006 as an expanded function dental assistant. She worked for two years as a pediatric dental assistant before entering into the field of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Ashley began working with Dr. Haggerty in 2008 and was his main clinic and operating room assistant. The time that Ashely spent in the clinic, hospitals and operating rooms with Dr. Haggerty fueled her desire to pursue a career in nursing. She graduated from St. Luke’s College of Nursing with honors with both RN and BSN degrees.
Ashley is a board certified registered nurse and serves as Lakewood Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Specialists clinical nurse and treatment coordinator. Her experiences as an expanded functional dental assistant, 10 years of experience as an oral and maxillofacial surgery assistant, and a board certified registered nurse is second to none.
